Elysian Superfuzz Blood Orange Pale

Elysian Superfuzz Blood Orange APA

But First Let's Talk About Last Week!

Thanks to everyone who came out to get Krakken'd and have a sweet gif of themselves made. I think they brought the alcohol content of last weeks league up in the best way possible.

We also got to meet the ODell representative for Missouri and a couple guys who just flew in from Colorado. Jake brought them to TWR for (I think) their first beer in St. Louis - in any case it was really cool to meet some of the people who go into keeping craft beer growing.

I think we should have an ODell Beer League takeover soon!

But Now Let's Talk About This Week!

This weeks beer is Elysian Superfuzz Blood Orange Ale - or as they say, "Call it Orangesploitation."

This American Pale Ale is clocking in at a respectable 6.4% - and we honestly weren't able to find a commercial description of Superfuzz.

Neither could Beer Advocate. As long as we're consistent, I guess!

NOTE: If you're playing PokemonGO there are at least two Pokestops within walking distance from TWR - the St. Ann Post Office and The St. Louis County Library Rock Road Branch

Definitely citrus orange zesty aroma. Very little head. Enjoyed beer from the tap at Elysian restaurant across from century link. A good summer beer when you're not in the mood for a IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beer Advocate
On tap. Hazy amber body with a good looking head. Medium-light body with soft, medium carbonation. Attractive, citrus hop dominated aroma and flavor. Just the right level of bitterness for style. Body is a touch too thin
