Heard great things about this beer so I searched till I finally found a store in Nashville that had a 6 pack.

Appearance: Pours a nice yellowish with tints of orange with a finger of a white head. It's definitely filtered and you can see through it. It's pretty clear.

Smell: Smells wonderful. Sweet hops, tropical fruits, citrus, orange.

Taste - Taste is amazing. Sweet upfront mixed with a slight bitterness, then tropical fruits and a bready/malty taste at the end.

Mouthfeel: Mouthfeel is light to medium. Super drinkable. Would never know this was 7%.

Overall: One of my favorite IPAs ever. So good. I'm always looking for beers similar to Lagunitas Sucks and this isn't as good but along the same lines. Very tropical fruit-y, which I love.

dear...lord...The hop aroma startled me not just in it’s pungency or potency, but also in the fact that it reminded me of sweat. And I thought to myself "this is the only time i will say that sweat smells good, someone should bottle this stuff" bear in mind that i thought that while sniffing out of a bottle...Kevin, the beer guy at my local beer store poured me a taste of this in store and wow...it smells like grapefruit and oranges, and lemon and sweat all rolled in one! It tasted like that too, but to a slightly lesser degree. I had to buy the six-pack, and i did. and it was awesome. you should too if you get a chance.

In the last few years, Schlafly has become more bold with the beers they're putting out.  This is most evident with their IBEX Series.  TIPA is bold and unabashedly in your face with its hop profile and it works so well.  When this was first released a couple years ago, I was buying it probably once a week and still find myself at the checkout line with it when my hoppy beer supply gets low at the house.
